No CommentsUniversity of California, Berkeley was first established in oakland in 1869 by Henry Durant with 10 faculty members and 40 students. Later in 1873 the university with close to 200 students moved to the new campus at berkeley. It is also referred as UC Berkeley. UC Berkeley is one of the top universities in the world. It aims in providing education with both” practical” and “classical” for the states people.
A Total of 22 UC Berkeley faculty have won noble awards along with 32 MacArthur fellows and 4 Pulitzer Prize winners. Berkeley offers more than 300 degree programs for both graduates and undergraduates. It includes different departments organised into colleges and schools

UC Berkeley offers wide range of services for Disabled students. It provides financial aid and scholarships for the students.
